Citing Snowfall, Govt Closes Schools In J&K’s Kishtwar, Ramban

The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Monday closed all the primary and secondary schools in chenab’s Kishtwar and Pir Panchal’s Ramban district due to fresh ‘snowfall’. 

"All the primary and middle schools of kishtwar district will observe no schooling today on 7th day of November 2022 due to harsh weather conditions as directed by district administration. Although high schools and higher secondary schools will function normally. All to note and act instantly," C E O Kishtwar said. 
 
"In view of heavy rains, all Primary & Middle Schools in Ramban District shall remain closed today. Students of these schools are advised to remain indoors," DC Ramban said in a notification.
 
Pertinently, upper reaches of Kashmir valley received fresh snowfall in Monday morning and rains lashed plains.
