SRINAGAR, Feb. 19—A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team from Chandigarh and Srinagar conducted a raid at the Civil Secretariat office of Kumar Rajeev Ranjan, Secretary of Labour and Employment Development, as part of an ongoing corruption probe.
According to top sources, the search is linked to an investigation under FIR No. RC0512025S0003, registered on Feb. 17, 2025. The case falls under Section 5(2) read with 5(1)(e) of the Jammu & Kashmir Prevention of Corruption Act, Svt. 2006, and Section 109 of the Ranbir Penal Code (RPC).
