Kulgam: A man was killed and two others were injured after a speedy vehicle hit a motorcycle in Khur Batpora area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district last evening, an official said on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Rafiq Malik, son of Abdul Rashid Malik, while the injured have been identified as Bashir Ahmad, son of Abdul Ganie and Mushtaq Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Qadir Malik—all residents of Khur Batpora.
All the injured were shifted to district hospital Kulgam where from two of them were referred to SKIMS Soura, the official said.
“Later one among them succumbed to his injuries,” he added.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
