Udhampur: Four members of a family were killed and one was critically injured on Sunday after a car was crushed between two trucks in the Salora area of Udhampur district in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
The deceased have been identified as Nitin Dogra, son of Mohan Lal; Ritu Dogra, wife of Nitin Dogra; Khushi Dogra, daughter of Nitin Dogra; and his other daughter Vani Dogra, all of Jammu.
The injured person was identified as Brinda Dogra, daughter of Nitin Dogra.
An official notified that the car, en route from Jammu to Udhampur, collided with two trucks at Salora, causing serious injuries to all five occupants.
He said all the injured were rushed to GMC (Govt Medical College) Udhampur where four were pronounced dead, while another was referred to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment.
