Uri, March 5 — A boy and a girl jumped into the Jhelum river near Dulanja Uri, close to the Line of Control in Baramulla district, on Wednesday, officials said.
Sources said the boy, a resident of Dhani Busgran, and the girl, from Kundi Barjala, leaped into the fast-flowing river in the afternoon.
Locals have launched a search operation, while the arrival of SDRF and other rescue agencies was awaited, according to reports.
