Sopore: A massive fire gutted a residential house in Takyabal, Krankshivan colony in north Kashmir’s Sopore town.
Police and locals rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames.
Despite their efforts, the house was completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
Locals alleged a delay by the Fire and Emergency department, resulting in the house turning into ashes.
"Around 3:50 pm we informed the department but they reached after an hour to douse off the flames. Until they reached to the spot, house had already turned into ashes", they said.
A Fire and Emergency Official mentioned that lack of proper communication caused chaos.
