Ganderbal: A 45-year-old man was injured after he was attacked by a bear in Dardwooder village of Kangan in central Kashmirs Ganderbal district on Monday evening.
An official said that the man was attacked by the bear when he went to his Maize fields.
The injured person was identified as Rakhim Din Theakry, son of Yaqoob Theakry and a resident of Dardwooder village in Kangan.
He said that the injured was immediately rushed to SDH (Sub Distrcit hospital) Kangan, where from he was referred to SKIMS (Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Science) Soura for advanced treatment.
