Baramulla Police Books Trio Under PSA Over ‘Anti-India Activities’

Srinagar: Police in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district have booked a trio under the Public Safety Act and transferred them to Jammu Jail for their alleged involvement in ‘anti-India’ activities.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Tawseef Ahmed from Andargam Pattan, Ghulam Muhammad Lone from Lachipora Uri, and Shahzad Ahmed Malik, a resident of Singhpora Pattan.

Baramulla Police said that multiple cases had been registered against these three individuals in connection with anti-national activities.

The police further stated that formal detention orders were obtained from the competent authorities, resulting in the trio being transferred to Kot Balwal Jail in Jammu.
