Srinagar: An ATM (Automatic teller machine) guard was found dead in Soura area of Srinagar on Friday.
He was identified as Mohammad Muzaffar Kakroo, son of Abdul Kahliq Kakroo and a resident of Amdakadal area of Lalbazar. However, his age wasn’t known immediately.
As per police, he was found unconscious inside the ATM booth of HDFC Bank in Soura.
“He was rushed to SKIMS (Sher-e-Kashmir Institue of Medical Science) Soura where doctors declared him brought dead,” a police official said.
He said that inquest proceedings have been launched to find out the cause of his death.
