At least 19 Hezbollah fighters have been killed as deadly clashes erupted between Israel and Hezbollah on Saturday night, with more than 4,000 people being evacuated from southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah and Israel’s military exchanged artillery fire since the Israel-Palestine war began on October 7.
However, reports said that the Israeli military has killed over six Hezbollah fighters on Sunday morning, taking the death toll to 19.

The Israeli army reported that one of its tanks was attacked by an anti-tank missile fired by Hezbollah in the "disputed" Shebaa Farms close to its northern border with Lebanon, and an Israeli communication tower was also targeted.
Hezbollah’s attacks were seen to keep Israel’s military occupied without provoking a major war but Israel stated it has no interest in waging war and has suggested that if Hezbollah is restrained, it will maintain the status quo.
Nonetheless, rising tensions have raised concerns in the region and beyond about the risk of a wider conflict, as Israel makes preparations for an expected land incursion into Gaza.
