Kupwara: Arms and ammunition have been recovered by the forces, concealed within the Kot Nala forests in the Wavura area of Kupwara district, northern Kashmir.
According to an official statement, acting on specific intelligence inputs, a joint operation was conducted by the Military’s 160 Territorial unit and Kupwara police.
“During the search operation, recovered items were four AK magazines, along with 1450 rounds of AK ammunition, 190 rounds of sniper ammunition, and a pair of pistols with associated magazines. Additionally, the haul included a spectrum of military-grade equipment such as ammunition pouches, binoculars, and a walkie-talkie, all of which bore markings indicating their origin in Pakistan.”
