ACB Files Case Against Two Srinagar Smart City Officials

Srinagar, Jan 10- The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) registered cases against two employees of Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) on Friday for alleged possession of disproportionate assets.

Addressing a press conference, ACB officials stated that the duoโ€”Sajid Yousuf Bhat, Chief Financial Officer, and Zahoor Ahmad Dar, Executive Engineer at SSCLโ€”are booked under charges of possessing assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.

"The case has been registered, and searches are underway at seven locations in this regard," the ACB stated, without providing further details.

The ACB added that the two individuals managed to accumulate assets far exceeding their lawful earnings.ย

"We have registered a case, and further details will be shared only after the completion of searches and investigation," the ACB said, in response to inquiries about the involvement of other officials.ย
