Sopore: A 16-year-old boy has allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death at his residence in the Batapora locality of Sopore town in north Kashmir's Baramulla district, officials said on Friday evening.
An official said that a boy (name withheld) hanged himself to death at his residence in Sangrampora Batapora area of Sopore town.
When he was rushed to SDH (Sub district hospital) Sopore, doctors declared him brought dead, he said.
Meanwhile, a police official said that they have taken the cognizance of the case.
