New Delhi: As a key player in the NDA alliance, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has secured 16 Lok Sabha seats. TDP MPs Rammohan Naidu and Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar are set to be sworn in as Union Ministers today alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

According to reports, Srikakulam MP Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and Guntur MP Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar will take their oaths as Union Ministers on Sunday. Rammohan Naidu is expected to be appointed to a cabinet position, while Dr. Chandra Sekhar will be sworn in as Minister of State (MoS).

Rammohan Naidu, son of the late Yerrannaidu, a former Union Minister, is a three-time MP from Srikakulam. At 36 years old, he is poised to become one of the youngest cabinet ministers. Known for his eloquence, Rammohan Naidu is seen as carrying forward his father's legacy as a prominent TDP figure on the national stage.

Dr. Chandra Sekhar, an NRI doctor who gained recognition as India's wealthiest MP, is making his political debut. Despite being a first-time MP, TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu selected him for a ministerial position, representing the parliamentary constituency that includes the capital, Amaravati.

The TDP is expected to secure two additional cabinet positions in the upcoming expansion.
