Protests erupted in several cities across Pakistan after former Prime Minister
Imran Khan was arrested over alleged corruption.
Thousands of Khan’s supporters took to the streets on Tuesday in the capital Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and other cities to protest against his arrest.
Also, the current Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr Shabaz Sharif and the Pakistan Army Chief has called an emergency meeting.
Schools and colleges have been closed all over Pakistan, an emergency has been declared in hospitals.
