Srinagar: As a 59-year-old man identified as Gurmeet Singh (Sethi Veer Ji) went missing from Kanth -Bagh area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district since August 25, 2023, newly launched JKAT’s (Jammu&Kashmir Awami Tareek) party spokesperson Angad Singh Khalsa urged LG administration to intensify efforts to locate the missing man belonging to the Sikh minority.
Gurmeet Singh, an engineer in the R&B department in Baramulla, went missing on August 25, 2023.
As per his family, he left his residence at around 6:30 pm to visit a nearby market, but he has not returned since.
The situation worsened when his abandoned car was discovered in the vicinity with his mobile phone being switched off.
In response to the distressing situation, Angad Singh Khalsa has called upon the LG administration to initiate a comprehensive search for Gurmeet Singh.
The party, via a statement, urged both the administration and civil societies of north Kashmir to collaborate in tracing and ensuring the safe return of Er Gurmeet Singh.
The statement issued by JKAT further sought the importance of transparency in the investigation process, insisting that detailed updates be shared with Gurmeet Singh's immediate family members.
