Srinagar: A man has died in a fire incident that
broke out in the Jamalata area of Nawa Kadal in downtown Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.
The man has been identified as the house owner of one of the houses, namely Bashir Ahmad Banday, son of Mohammad Yousuf Banday.
At least three residential houses were damaged after a massive fire broke out in Jamalata, Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar.
Officials said that the house owner was trapped inside his home and died during the incident.
He was immediately evacuated to the hospital after being found unconscious at home, where doctors declared him dead.
