Kerala: On Tuesday, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) chief K. Sudhakaran criticized the absence of Muslim representation in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet, calling it “extremely undemocratic.
He criticised Modi’s 3.0 government and said such representation is unjust in a democratic system.
In a statement, the senior Congress leader said, “It is extremely undemocratic that the country’s Muslim population was entirely excluded when the third Modi government came to power, with not a single BJP MP from that community.”
Referring to Modi’s controversial remarks during the Lok Sabha poll campaign, Sudhakaran, the MP from Kannur, alleged that Modi came to power through hate speeches.
He added that there is now a strong opposition in the country and that the INDIA Front, led by the Congress, will unite people moving forward.
