Srinagar: The diplomatic tension between Canada and India has taken a concerning turn as the Canadian government issued a travel advisory urging its citizens to avoid all travel to Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement released by the Canadian government, citizens were warned of the risks associated with traveling to Jammu and Kashmir. The advisory cited concerns over the threat of militancy, civil unrest, and kidnapping, designating the region as a high-risk destination. Notably, the advisory excluded Ladakh from its travel warning.
Earlier, Canada accused government of India of being involved in the killing of Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
