Arrested 'Hybrid' Killed By Militants: Police

J&K Police on Wednesday said that a 'hybrid' militant who was arrested on Tuesday over the killing of two non-local laborers was killed by other militants during raids in the South Kashmir shopian district.

Earlier, Police identified the deceased 'hybrid' as Imran Bashir Ganie, a resident of the Herman area in Shopian. 
 
"Based on the disclosure of arrested hybrid #terrorist & in continuous raids by Police & security forces, another contact has been established between terrorists & SFs at Nowgam #Shopian, in which a hybrid terrorist namely Imran Bashir Ganaie killed by the firing of another terrorist," Police said in a tweet. 
 
'Hybrid' term was coined by J&K police last year, defined as people who carry out militant attacks like sleeper cells and live a normal life within the society. 
 
Notably, two non-local labourers from India's uttar Pradesh were killed by suspected militants in shopain on Tuesday and police said two 'hybrids' were arrested in the case. 
 
However, details of another accused was not available.
