New Delhi, October 22, 2024 — The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) received an email on Monday night warning that its three schools in Delhi and Telangana would be targeted, following a recent blast near the CRPF school in the Prashant Vihar area of Rohini in New Delhi on Sunday morning.
Official sources confirmed on Tuesday that the schools—located in Rohini and Dwarka in Delhi, and Medchal near Hyderabad—are safe and operating normally with the email sttaing that explosives could detonate at the three school locations by 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
According to reports, the Police and NSG are conducting checks but found no evidence of any threat.
“The three CRPF schools are functioning normally, and there is no cause for concern,” official sources stated.
Sources also said that intelligence agencies are currently investigating possible links to “Khalistani supporters.”
Also, they said that the agencies are looking into the origin and authorship of the hoax email, which references Tamil Nadu.
