Srinagar, September 21: A seven-year-old girl was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the Barbar Shah area of Srinagar on Sunday evening, officials said.
The girl, identified as Sidra, daughter of Sajad Ahmad and a resident of Bihar, sustained critical injuries in the accident, an official said.
“She was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle near Barbar Shah,” the official said.

She was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead, he said.
The official added that cognizance of the incident has been taken and a probe has been initiated to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
