Srinagar, Sept 12: Principal District and Sessions Judge Srinagar, Haq Nawaz Zargar, has been transferred, with his services placed at the disposal of the Chief Justice. He is slated for adjustment as Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice against an existing vacancy.
The official directive was issued by the Office of the Registrar General of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
The official communication specified that the decision was taken in the interest of administration. To ensure uninterrupted functioning, the High Court has entrusted the Special Judge Anti-Corruption, Srinagar, with the additional charge of the Court of Principal District and Sessions Judge, Srinagar.
This temporary arrangement will remain active until a regular appointment is made to the post.
The order, issued under the authority of Registrar General M.K. Sharma, has been circulated to all relevant judicial and administrative departments for seamless implementation.
