Srinagar: A 45-year-old man died after a deodar tree fell on him in Behak Wali, Warnow area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday late afternoon, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Amin Chechi, son of Ambir Din Cheechi, and a resident of Affan Warnow.
An official said that he came under a deodar tree at Mehandi Behak Wali Top in Warnow while grazing the cattle.
The tree, he said, was uprooted due to strong winds blowing in the area.
