Srinagar: Body of a woman was recovered in Bemina area of Srinagar on Tuesday morning, officials said.
An official identified the deceased as Tanveera, wife of Showkat Ahmad Kaloo and a residen of Nundresh Colony, Bemina.
“She was found dead in mysterious conditions in Durbal area by some locals early in the morning,” said the official.
Police was informed and the body was taken into possession, he said.
“The body was taken to the hospital and will be handed over to the family after medico-legal formalities,” he added.
