Bandipora: A man died of alleged suffocation in the Sumbal area of North Kashmir Bandipora district.
An official said that one Nazir Ahmad Sofi, son of Mohammad Abdullah, resident of Sarie Dagarpora in Sumbal was taken to JVC Hospital Srinagar in an unconscious condition.
“The doctors at the hospital declared the person as brought dead”, the official said adding “the person is believed to have died of asphyxiation (suffocation).”
