Doda: A 4-year-old boy was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle in the Baggar area of the Assar sub-division in the Chenab region’s Doda district on Saturday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as Bhanu Pratap, the son of Bachan Singh and a resident of the Ganota area of Assar.
According to an official, the child was struck by a vehicle in the Baggar area, after which he was rushed to the Community Health Centre in Batote.
Sadly, the boy succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital.
Police have taken note of the incident and have registered a case accordingly.
