Srinagar:: Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday said they found an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) weighing around 10-12 kgs in Tral area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police said that based on a specific input by police, IED weighing around 10-12 kgs was recovered in Beihgund area of Tral.
Police also said that army and police were on job to destroy the IED in-situ.
“On a specific input of police, an IED, approx 10-12 Kgm has been recovered in Beihgund area of Tral. Police and Army are on the job to destroy it insitu. A major terror incident averted,” police tweeted.
