Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan is reportedly being held in a small cell with a CCTV camera placed in front of it, according to a report filed by an additional district session judge.
The CCTV coverage shows open latrine bowl, leaving no privacy for defecation for Khan in the prison where he is being held, South Asia Index reported.
Earlier, Imran Khan’s close aide and former foreign minister of Pakistan, Shah Mahmood qureshi said that Imran Khan was denied a copy of holy Quran in the prison.
Next day, Qureshi was arrested in an alleged case by authorities.
“The jail cell is so small, the bed is placed next to toilet bowl, with no basic hygiene standard nor showering facilities. The man who stood on principle for the entire Muslim Ummah, is being denied a translation of the copy of the Holy Quran in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,” he posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
